NORMAN BARRINGTON'S PAMS UNUSUAL MIXES & RESINGS SAMPLER
By Norman Barrington

Here are six montages of PAMS syndicated jingles, highlighting unusual re-sings and mixes emphasizing PAMS flexibility, ingenuity and musicianship, with a nod to some of the more adventurous PDs for their lyric ideas.

If you are younger than the boomers, and these vintage cuts are not your first choice, please listen with an open mind to the genius of Bill Meeks and the PAMS gang, utilizing full orchestras, novelty instruments, fabulous harmonies and the latest technical tricks available, from 1960-72.

The excellence sets the benchmark for others to follow.

Roughly chronological, there are six 15 minute montage published, each picks up where the previous one leaves off.

Above all please enjoy! All copyrights acknowledged.

Good headphones are advisable if your significant other or neighbors do not share you enthusiasm.
